Kelyachi Poli

We had a lot of fruit left over from last week's trip to the farmers' market including some very ripe bananas. I usually make banana pancakes or banana delight (will post the recipe soon) but this time, on an impulse, I decided to try something new.
Kelyachi Poli is an easy and tasty option for breakfast.

Here is the recipe:

Ingredients:

Very ripe bananas - 2 (I used just one large banana)
Whole wheat flour - 2 cups
Sugar - 1 tbsp
Salt - a pinch

Method:

Peel and chop the ripe bananas and add the sugar to it. Blend the bananas in the food processor and then add the wheat flour & salt to the pulp and continue to process it until you get the dough to a chapati-like consistency.
You don't need oil or water to knead the dough as the banana is usually sufficient. You may have to adjust your quantity of flour accordingly.
Roll out the polis immediately as the dough can change colour if not used immediately. Dab the polis with some ghee and serve hot with jam.
